How do I copy a viewer’s chat message?
Copy message text without sending a reply or putting it on screen.
Before you start
Find the intended message in Platform Chat or an offered message/history window.
Where to find it
The Copy icon immediately after Reply on a message card.
Steps
- Locate the message and choose its Copy icon.
- Paste into the intended text editor or document.
- Check Unicode, emoji and line breaks before using the copied text.
Check the result
The pasted value contains the message text.
Helpful information
Copy excludes author, time and platform metadata. It does not send a reply or add a message to broadcast. Empty messages have Copy disabled.
If something is wrong
If a copy error is shown, check clipboard availability and retry. Review the destination before pasting personal viewer content.
