Show PowerPoint slides as a source
Add a PPTX presentation, choose the slide to display and check its rendered preview.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and layout. Rehearse changes before using them during a live production.
Where to find it
Create Source > PowerPoint (PPTX); Normal Content > Add > PowerPoint (PPTX).
Use it
- Choose PowerPoint (PPTX) and open its source properties.
- Use Browse next to Presentation File and select a .pptx file.
- Wait for the slide list and preview to load.
- Use Select slide to choose the required slide.
- Choose Save and Close, then position the source or Content Placement.
- In a Normal Content card, use its slide selector to change slides during the show.
Rehearse the presentation
Review every slide you intend to show at the actual output size. Keep the presentation file available. This source displays the selected slide; do not assume that desktop presentation playback, animations, embedded media or every PowerPoint effect is reproduced. Use Window/Display capture of your presentation application if you need its full interactive playback, and test that capture first.
If a slide does not load
Check that the file is an accessible PPTX, choose it again with Browse and wait for the preview. Saving is unavailable until a usable preview is ready. In Normal, also check that the scene has a visible Content Placement and the presentation card is active.
