Image Slide Show

Present a list of still images automatically or manually.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and layout. For capture or network inputs, have the device or sender available.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > Image Slide Show.

Use it

  1. Open the scene that will contain the source.
  2. Choose Add in Sources.
  3. Select Image Slide Show in Create Source.
  4. Enter a name and choose New.
  5. Add image files or directories.
  6. Reorder the list with Up/Down or drag rows.
  7. Choose Slide Mode and Playback Mode.
  8. Select Transition, duration, and time between slides.
  9. Set visibility behavior.
  10. Choose Save and Close (or OK where shown).
  11. Check the source in Preview before taking it to Program.

Controls and additional tasks

Once stops after the list, Loop repeats, and Random chooses slides randomly. Hide when slideshow is done applies to Once. Directory images use name order. Transition duration is limited to the slide duration when saved. Select a list row to preview it. Playback controls include Play, Pause, Stop, Restart, Next, and Previous.

Run sponsor cards in Loop with a short fade.

If something is wrong

If a slide is missing, check the file/directory entry. If it advances unexpectedly, use manual Slide Mode.

Stop or remove

Hide the source to stop showing its picture. Use its available playback/connection stop control when you need to stop the input itself. Remove the source item from the scene when it is no longer needed. Shared sources can still be used in other scenes.
