Controls and additional tasks

Temporary drawing removes each new stroke on pointer release. Turn it off for persistent drawing. Undo, Redo, and Clear affect this Draw source. Cursor settings control its appearance and idle hiding. Maximum undo steps is limited by canvas memory. Clear canvas when a scene transition starts removes the drawing on a scene change. During drawing interaction, source moving/resizing/cropping is disabled. Use the workspace Draw settings menu for quick changes while drawing. In Presets, choose a saved preset and choose Apply, Update from Current Tool, or Remove. Choose Save Current Tool as Preset... to keep a new tool configuration. Cursor Hide Delay offers 0.1, 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, 5, and 10 seconds. Custom cursor Size offers 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 32, 48, 64, and 100 pixels. The quick history limit offers 10, 25, 50, 100, 250, and 1000 actions; properties allow a custom limit.

If something is wrong

If strokes disappear on release, turn off Temporary drawing. If the source moves instead of drawing, enable Draw interaction.

Stop or remove

Hide the source to stop showing its picture. Use its available playback/connection stop control when you need to stop the input itself. Remove the source item from the scene when it is no longer needed. Shared sources can still be used in other scenes.
