How do I type, click or sign in inside a Browser source?

Use Interact to operate the actual page.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.

Where to find it

Select the Browser source > Interact.

Steps

  1. Open Interact and wait for the page.
  2. Click the page, then type, scroll or paste into its field.
  3. Use the address bar and Back/Forward/Refresh controls when needed.
  4. Check the source picture before closing Interact.

Check the result

The intended live source responds to your page input.

Helpful information

Actions affect the production source. Closing Interact keeps the source; website sign-in can survive ordinary reopening, subject to that website’s own session policy.

If something is wrong

Check source activity, page load and keyboard focus. A website can require another login or block its content.
