How do I create an image slideshow?

Follow this workflow to create an image slideshow.

Before you start

Prepare the images in the desired order or folder.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > Image Slide Show.

Steps

Open the scene that will contain the source.
Choose Add in Sources.
Select Image Slide Show in Create Source.
Enter a name and choose New.
Add image files or directories.
Reorder the list with Up/Down or drag rows.
Choose Slide Mode and Playback Mode.
Select Transition, duration, and time between slides.
Set visibility behavior.
Choose Save and Close (or OK where shown).
Check the source in Preview before taking it to Program.

Check the result

Check several slides, their duration, and the selected Once/Loop/Random behavior.

Helpful information

Once stops after the list, Loop repeats, and Random chooses slides randomly. Hide when slideshow is done applies to Once. Directory images use name order. Transition duration is limited to the slide duration when saved. Select a list row to preview it. Playback controls include Play, Pause, Stop, Restart, Next, and Previous.

If something is wrong

If the show ends unexpectedly, review playback mode and Hide when slideshow is done.
