Image Sequence

Play sequentially numbered images as an animation.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and layout. For capture or network inputs, have the device or sender available.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > Image Sequence.

Use it

  1. Open the scene that will contain the source.
  2. Choose Add in Sources.
  3. Select Image Sequence in Create Source.
  4. Enter a name and choose New.
  5. Choose First Image.
  6. Set Frame Rate.
  7. Set loop and hidden-source behavior.
  8. Preview playback.
  9. Choose Save and Close (or OK where shown).
  10. Check the source in Preview before taking it to Program.

Controls and additional tasks

Frame rate is 1–120 FPS. Restart when active restarts from the first frame. Play when not visible keeps timing advancing while hidden. Show nothing when playback ends gives transparent output after non-looping playback. Image Sequence has no audio; use a separate Audio source.

Play a numbered transparent logo animation.

If something is wrong

If only one frame plays, check sequential filenames and the first numbered image.

Stop or remove

Hide the source to stop showing its picture. Use its available playback/connection stop control when you need to stop the input itself. Remove the source item from the scene when it is no longer needed. Shared sources can still be used in other scenes.
