Select gallery items and delete the intended content

Distinguish an individual card’s delete action from deletion of a selected group.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and check the result before using it during a production. Controls depend on the installed version and current selection.

Where to find it

Supported Content/Dynamic Content, Normal media, Assets and Background galleries.

Use it

  1. Select the intended item or extend the selection with the offered multi-selection controls.
  2. Use one card’s Delete action to delete that card alone.
  3. Use a selection-based toolbar, Delete-key or bulk context action to remove the selected group.
  4. Review confirmation before continuing; Cancel keeps the items.

Helpful information

A card Delete always targets that card, even when other cards are selected. Selection-based bulk actions affect the selection. Check where shared assets are used before removing them; deleting a show asset is different from hiding it or deleting an original file from disk.

For a temporary change, use visibility rather than deletion. Source reuse, protected slots and in-use item restrictions still apply. The selected count and confirmation help identify the scope.
