Interact with a Browser source
Use a page directly, navigate and sign in inside the existing Browser source.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and rehearse before changing a live production. Controls depend on your installed version and selection.
Where to find it
Select a Browser source and choose Interact.
Use it
- Wait for the page and controls to become ready.
- Click inside the page before typing, scrolling or pasting.
- Use Back, Forward, Refresh and Stop loading as needed.
- Enter an address and press Enter or use Go.
- Use zoom minus/plus or 100% to reset, then close Interact when finished.
Helpful information
Interact controls the same live source shown in the production. Clicking, navigating or signing out can affect that picture immediately. Closing Interact does not remove the source. Zoom ranges from 25% to 500%.
Browser sources retain their own website sign-in between ordinary close/reopen sessions. A website can expire its login independently; this is separate from your MCast account. Avoid assuming a newly created source shares another source’s website session.
In Interact, Ctrl/Cmd+L focuses the address; F5 or Ctrl/Cmd+R refreshes; Shift with refresh bypasses cached content. Alt+Left/Right moves through page history. Ctrl/Cmd plus/minus changes zoom; Ctrl/Cmd+0 resets it. The toolbar remains the clearest choice when a page handles keyboard input.
