How do I make a border or mask follow a cropped source?
Choose the current cropped boundary for visual effects.
Before you start
Select the source and prepare its placement crop.
Where to find it
Visual Filters > Edges.
Steps
- Open Filters for the intended source.
- Choose Current and inspect the effect around the remaining picture.
- Compare Original if you need filtering relative to the uncropped picture.
- Review the full scene and any other uses of the source.
Check the result
The effect uses the intended cropped or original boundary.
Helpful information
Current is the initial choice. Original effects can be clipped by the later placement crop. Edges does not undo crop or move the item.
If something is wrong
Check crop, effect order, padding and the selected source; uncropped sources may look identical.
