MCast Face Blur

Automatically cover detected faces. Small or partly hidden faces may not be detected; review the picture before sharing.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Add MCast Face Blur to the source.
  2. Choose Style.
  3. Adjust Amount and the style-specific blur/pixel/mask settings.
  4. Adjust mask expansion and softness.
  5. Review the entire picture during movement, not only a still frame.

Controls and additional tasks

Detection Confidence and Minimum Face Size decide which faces are accepted. Tracking, hold, and detection-rate settings control how masks follow movement.

If something is wrong

If a face is missed, review its size, visibility, confidence threshold, and mask expansion. Automatic detection does not guarantee every face is covered.
