How do I blur a selected face?
Follow this workflow to blur a selected face.
Before you start
Use a visible face in the intended camera/source and check available controls.
Where to find it
Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.
Steps
- Add MCast Blur Selected Face to the source.
- Choose Get All Faces.
- Wait for the scan or choose Cancel Scan.
- Choose Show Faces.
- Select the faces in Selected Faces.
- Choose Done.
- Review the result across the media range.
Check the result
Watch the resulting blur through a short moving sample.
Helpful information
This effect runs before other source effects. Detection Confidence and Minimum Face Size apply to the next scan. Review all relevant parts of the media before sharing.
If something is wrong
Review selected face, effect strength, and source. Check the output picture rather than assuming the effect hides every movement.
