Built-in filters

MCast 3D Effect

Projects the source as a perspective or orthographic 3D plane.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Open the selected input/source Filters.
  2. Choose the appropriate Add action.
  3. Select MCast 3D Effect.
  4. Adjust the settings below.
  5. Compare enabled and bypassed results.
  6. Close the filter editor when finished.

Controls and additional tasks

Filter order changes the combined result. Bypass keeps settings without applying the effect; Delete removes it. Reset restores defaults.

Effect settings

SettingUse and limits
ModeSet mode for this effect. Default: 0; Choices: Perspective, Orthographic.
Field of ViewSet field of view for this effect. Default: 90; Range: 0.1–180.0.
Rotation XTilt around the horizontal axis. Default: 0; Range: -180.0–180.0.
Rotation YTilt around the vertical axis. Default: 0; Range: -180.0–180.0.
Rotation ZRotation in the picture plane. Default: 0; Range: -180.0–180.0.
Position XHorizontal position. Default: 0; Range: -100000.0–100000.0.
Position YVertical position. Default: 0; Range: -100000.0–100000.0.
Position ZDepth position. Default: 0; Range: -100000.0–100000.0.
Scale XHorizontal scale. Default: 100; Range: 0.0–10000.0.
Scale YVertical scale. Default: 100; Range: 0.0–10000.0.
Shear XHorizontal slant. Default: 0; Range: -200.0–200.0.
Shear YVertical slant. Default: 0; Range: -200.0–200.0.

If something is wrong

If the result is unexpected, bypass the filter and then enable it with defaults.

Stop or remove

Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
