Choose and preview an application theme
Preview the interface appearance instantly, then save the theme you want to keep.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and layout. Rehearse changes before using them during a live production.
Where to find it
File > Settings > Appearance > Theme; Theme in first-time Setup.
Use it
- Select Theme in Appearance.
- Try Dark, Light, Apple Glass, Mattel, Darcula, High Contrast, Windows Native, Apple Native or Linux Native.
- Review text, buttons and panels in the live preview.
- Choose Save to keep the choice, or Cancel to restore the saved theme.
- Adjust Font size and reduced animation separately if needed.
Theme changes the interface
Theme affects MCast windows and panels. It does not recolor your scenes, replace collection brand colors or change titles sent to output. A platform-named theme is an appearance choice; it does not select the operating system. Floating panels use the chosen theme too.
If text or controls are hard to see, try High Contrast or another theme and review the actual controls at your display size.
