Choose whether to share anonymous usage
Control the optional sharing of page visits and feature actions independently of local diagnostic reports.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and layout. Rehearse changes before using them during a live production.
Where to find it
File > Settings > Application > General > Diagnostics.
Use it
- Find Share anonymous usage to help improve MCast.
- Read the description and turn the choice on or off.
- Choose Save; the saved choice takes effect.
- Reopen the settings to confirm your choice.
What this choice covers
The setting covers anonymous page visits and feature actions. It excludes account details, media, file paths and stream credentials. Turn it off at any time and save. This choice does not send a manually exported support report, and exporting local diagnostics does not enable this choice.
Use the separate local log settings when collecting a diagnostic report. Review a report before sharing it with support.
