How do I snap sources to canvas edges or other sources?
The item aligns to the chosen nearby edge or center.
Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Open File > Settings > Workspace > Canvas & Preview.
- Set Snap Sensitivity and the edge, source or center snapping choices.
- Save, then move an unlocked item close to the selected boundary.
Check the result
The item aligns to the chosen nearby edge or center.
Helpful information
Snapping affects placement; it does not change the output dimensions.
If something is wrong
Check lock state and sensitivity if the source does not move or snap.
