How do I stop assigned shortcuts firing while editing?

Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Open File > Settings > System > Advanced.
- Choose Pause Shortcuts in Main Window or Pause Shortcuts in MCast Windows under Shortcut Focus Behaviour.
- Save and test a harmless assigned key with the relevant windows focused.
