Output confirmations, wait time and reconnect
Choose how broadcast, recording and external outputs prepare, start, stop and recover.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and layout. Make changes during preparation and check a short rehearsal before using them in a live show.
Where to find it
File > Settings > Output > Output.
Set it up
- Choose the start and stop confirmation options for each output family.
- Enable Use Wait Time only for the families that need a delay, and enter their wait time in seconds.
- Choose each family’s Use confirmation time option and countdown appearance if needed.
- Review Automatically Reconnect, Retry Delay (seconds) and Maximum Retries.
- Choose Save.
- Rehearse with a local recording or a private receiver before using a public broadcast.
Confirmations
Broadcast, Recording and External Output have independent start/stop confirmations. Turning one off does not change the other families.
Wait and visible countdown
Wait Time starts only after the output’s preparation checks pass. Each output has its own countdown. The 3, 2, 1, GO! confirmation timer follows preparation and wait time, immediately before starting. Font controls change that countdown’s appearance.
Reconnect
Enable automatic reconnect to retry failed destination sessions. Retry Delay sets the time between attempts; Maximum Retries bounds repeated attempts. Reconnect cannot fix a wrong receiver address, revoked account, missing device or incompatible format. Output priority may protect a higher-priority destination by dropping a lower-priority one.
Check the result
Confirm the intended destination changes to its running state, then check the actual receiver or finished recording. A countdown or successful local preview alone does not prove delivery.
