Understand plan limits within a collection

Check the allowances for the show you are working on.

Before you start

Open the intended collection and rehearse before changing a live production. Controls depend on your installed version and selection.

Where to find it

Help > License, collection layouts, output profiles/destinations and Guest settings.

Use it

  1. Open Help > License and review your current plan and entitlements.
  2. Choose the intended collection.
  3. Count its layouts and saved output destinations separately from other collections.
  4. Review active/starting outputs before starting another.
  5. Count guests across every room in this collection before inviting more.

Helpful information

Layout, output-destination, simultaneous-output and guest allowances apply independently per collection. Exact allowances come from your plan; this guide does not promise a fixed number. More than one layout still needs the corresponding entitlement.

A second guest room does not provide another copy of the same collection’s guest allowance. Outputs that are starting, paused, stopping or reconnecting can still occupy simultaneous-output capacity. Repeating a start request for the same already-running output does not create an extra allowance. Collection duplication/import also needs enough capacity for that collection. Reducing usage does not require an increased allowance.
