How do I remove unused sources from a collection?

Clean the existing-source catalog while keeping sources still used in your show.

Before you start

Choose the intended collection and review anything you want to reuse later.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > Create Source > Remove unused.

Steps

Open Create Source in the intended collection.
Choose Remove unused at the top right.
Review the confirmation and number of unused sources.
Confirm only if you intend to remove them, then review Existing Sources.

Check the result

Unused entries disappear; sources still used by the show remain.

Helpful information

Cleanup covers the whole active collection, regardless of the source-type/search filter. Original media files are not deleted. Scene placements, output assignments and other active uses can keep a source protected. Replay-managed sources can remain.

If something is wrong

Cancel if you selected the wrong collection. A source that remains may still be referenced elsewhere in the show.
