How do I show an iPhone or iPad screen?

Follow this workflow to show an iPhone or iPad screen.

Before you start

Prepare the device and the connection required by the source.

Where to find it

Sources > Add > iPhone/iPad Screen.

Steps

Open the scene that will contain the source.
Choose Add in Sources.
Select iPhone/iPad Screen in Create Source.
Enter a name and choose New.
Connect the device to the Mac with USB.
Unlock it and trust the Mac.
Choose the device in the camera-style properties.
Check the screen preview.
Choose Save and Close (or OK where shown).
Check the source in Preview before taking it to Program.

Check the result

Confirm the intended device picture in the scene.

Helpful information

This source is available only on macOS. The screen size follows device orientation. Protected content may not be shared. Camera-style properties provide supported format/audio/activation controls.

If something is wrong

If unavailable, check the device connection and source status before changing the scene.
