How do I set up MCast Studio for the first time?

Follow this workflow to set up MCast Studio for the first time.

Before you start

Have your sign-in ready and decide the initial picture size and UI language.

Where to find it

Launch MCast Studio.

Steps

  1. Complete sign-in if requested.
  2. Review the permissions screen if it appears.
  3. Grant the requested permissions in your operating system.
  4. Choose Refresh to recheck permissions.
  5. Choose Continue when the required permissions are granted.
  6. In Setup, choose Default layout.
  7. Set Width, Height, and UI language.
  8. Choose Save.

Check the result

Confirm the chosen layout opens and the requested capture permissions are granted.

Helpful information

Changing the setup language reopens MCast in that language after Save. Cancel preserves the current choice. On Windows, Save may offer a Yes/No camera repair prompt if camera preparation is required; declining lets workspace setup continue.

If something is wrong

If Continue is unavailable, grant the requested operating-system permission and use Refresh.
