MCast Walking Dead Pixel Fixer

Applies the walking dead pixel fixer visual effect.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Select the source and open Filters.
  2. Choose Add Filter.
  3. Search for MCast Walking Dead Pixel Fixer and add it.
  4. Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
  5. Compare with bypass enabled.
  6. Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.

Controls and additional tasks

Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.

Effect settings

Expand LeftAdd space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand RightAdd space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand TopAdd space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand BottomAdd space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Scan area widthAdjust scan area width; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 75; Range: 1–2560.
Scan area heightAdjust scan area height; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 120; Range: 1–1440.
Scan area offset XAdjust scan area offset x; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 110; Range: 0–2560.
Scan area offset YAdjust scan area offset y; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 20; Range: 0–1440.
Show scan area border in redEnable or disable show scan area border in red. Default: true.
Contrast thresholdAdjust the contrast threshold of the result. Default: 0.05; Range: 0–1.
Min cluster sizeAdjust min cluster size; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 324; Range: 0–600.
Max cluster sizeAdjust max cluster size; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 400; Range: 0–600.
Show matches in greenEnable or disable show matches in green. Default: true.
BypassEnable or disable bypass. Default: false.

If something is wrong

If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.

Stop or remove

Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
