MCast Frosted Glass

Applies the frosted glass visual effect.

Before you start

Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.

Where to find it

Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.

Use it

  1. Select the source and open Filters.
  2. Choose Add Filter.
  3. Search for MCast Frosted Glass and add it.
  4. Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
  5. Compare with bypass enabled.
  6. Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.

Controls and additional tasks

Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.

Effect settings

SettingUse and limits
Expand LeftAdd space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand RightAdd space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand TopAdd space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Expand BottomAdd space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999.
Alpha PercentSet alpha percent for this effect. Default: 100; Range: 0–100.
AmountAdjust amount; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 0.03; Range: 0–1.
ScaleMagnify or shrink the selected item. Default: 5.1; Range: 0–10.
AnimateEnable or disable animate. Default: false.
Horizontal BorderEnable or disable horizontal border. Default: false.
Border OffsetAdjust border offset; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 1.1; Range: 0–2.
Border Color XSet border color x for this effect. Default: 0.8; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Border Color YSet border color y for this effect. Default: 0.5; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Border Color ZSet border color z for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000.
Border Color WSet border color w for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000.

If something is wrong

If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.

Stop or remove

Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
