MCast Noise
Applies the noise visual effect.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.
Use it
- Select the source and open Filters.
- Choose Add Filter.
- Search for MCast Noise and add it.
- Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
- Compare with bypass enabled.
- Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.
Controls and additional tasks
Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.
Effect settings
| Setting | Use and limits |
|---|---|
| Expand Left | Add space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Right | Add space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Top | Add space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Bottom | Add space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Speed | Adjust speed; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 1; Range: 0–100. |
| Scale | Magnify or shrink the selected item. Default: 6; Range: 0–10. |
| Noise Level | Set noise level for this effect. Default: 1; Range: 0–1. |
| Monochromatic | Enable or disable monochromatic. Default: false. |
| Use Rand | Enable or disable use rand. Default: false. |
If something is wrong
If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.
Stop or remove
Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
