Visual effects
MCast Seascape
Applies the seascape visual effect.
Before you start
Select the intended collection or item before changing its settings.
Where to find it
Source right-click > Filters > Add Filter.
Use it
- Select the source and open Filters.
- Choose Add Filter.
- Search for MCast Seascape and add it.
- Adjust the controls below in the live preview.
- Compare with bypass enabled.
- Keep the effect only if the result suits the scene.
Controls and additional tasks
Reset returns defaults; disable bypasses without deletion. Filter order affects the picture.
Effect settings
| Setting | Use and limits |
|---|---|
| Expand Left | Add space at the left edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Right | Add space at the right edge for effect pixels outside the source. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Top | Add space above the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Expand Bottom | Add space below the source for effect pixels outside its bounds. Default: 0; Range: 0–9999. |
| Smooth (more resources) | Enable or disable smooth (more resources). Default: false. |
| Sea Height | Adjust sea height; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 0.6; Range: 0–1.5. |
| Sea Choppy | Set sea choppy for this effect. Default: 4; Range: 0–10. |
| Sea Speed | Adjust sea speed; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 0.8; Range: 0–10. |
| Sea Frequency | Set sea frequency for this effect. Default: 0.16; Range: 0–0.5. |
| Sea Base X | Set sea base x for this effect. Default: 0; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Base Y | Set sea base y for this effect. Default: 0.09; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Base Z | Set sea base z for this effect. Default: 0.18; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Base W | Set sea base w for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Water X | Set sea water x for this effect. Default: 0.48; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Water Y | Set sea water y for this effect. Default: 0.54; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Water Z | Set sea water z for this effect. Default: 0.36; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Sea Water W | Set sea water w for this effect. Default: 1; Range: -1000000–1000000. |
| Camera Speed | Adjust camera speed; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 1; Range: -10–10. |
| Camera Turn Speed | Adjust camera turn speed; compare the effect in the preview or audio meter. Default: 1; Range: 0–10. |
If something is wrong
If a required image/source is missing, select it in the corresponding file/source control. If the effect is clipped, review its expansion controls.
Stop or remove
Bypass the effect to retain settings. Select it and choose Delete to remove it.
