How do I switch images and videos in the same box?
Prepare a Dynamic Media source for mixed media.
Before you start
Open the intended collection and prepare sample content for a rehearsal. Confirm the controls are available in your installed version.
Where to find it
Sources > Add > Dynamic Media and Dynamic Content.
Steps
- Add Dynamic Media and choose its Group.
- Set Stretch, Fixed Point, Aspect Ratio, box size and Content Transition.
- Save the source and add image/video items in the matching Dynamic Content group.
- Select each item and check the picture, video playback and sound.
- Review the box separately in other layouts.
Check the result
Images and video appear in the same placed media area.
Helpful information
Use Dynamic Text for changing text. Content-list organization groups are separate from the source’s Dynamic Source Group.
If something is wrong
Check matching Group, selected content, source visibility, file access and the active layout’s box.
