How do I show one or all dynamic sources when selecting content?

Choose a Dynamic Source Group's visibility behavior for dynamic text, image and video members in a scene.

Before you start

Open the intended collection, prepare the dynamic sources and add sample content for a rehearsal.

Where to find it

File > Options > Dynamic Source Groups and each dynamic source's Properties.

Steps

  1. Create or edit the intended Dynamic Source Group.
  2. Choose Show One for one member at a time, Show All for all members, or None for independent visibility.
  3. Save, then assign the same group in each intended dynamic source's Properties.
  4. Select sample content in Dynamic Content and inspect the group's members in that scene.
  5. Repeat with another member to confirm the behavior before going live.

Check the result

Show One hides other dynamic members of that group in the scene; Show All shows them. None leaves their visibility independent.

Helpful information

Dynamic Source Groups are different from the content-list groups made with New Group in the Dynamic Content dock. Showing sources does not automatically arrange overlapping content.

If something is wrong

Check each source's group selection and the active collection. Use None if content selection should not hide another group member.
