How do I keep a network input connected while switching scenes?
The configured connection stays ready across scene changes.
Before you start
Open the intended collection/layout and prepare a safe rehearsal. Have the device, media or receiving service required by the task available.

Steps
- Open the network source Properties.
- Enter the supplied connection details and choose Connect Preview.
- Leave both lifecycle options off to keep the connection ready.
- Save and switch between rehearsal scenes to check continuity.

Helpful information
Hidden sources do not play audio. Choose close-on-inactive only when you want to release the connection.
If something is wrong
Check the sender, endpoint and connection status; use Reconnect input where offered.
