How do I save the last few moments as an instant replay?

Follow this workflow to save the last few moments as an instant replay.

Before you start

Prepare a writable replay folder and the required Maximum replay time.

Where to find it

File > Settings > Instant Replay; layout Output > Save Instant Replay.

Steps

  1. Enable Instant Replay Source in Settings.
  2. Choose Output folder.
  3. Set Maximum replay time.
  4. Save settings.
  5. Let the buffer collect the needed footage.
  6. Choose Save Instant Replay from the layout Output menu.

Check the result

Open the saved replay and check the available duration and sound.

Helpful information

The buffer uses the open layout render settings. It is separate from the multi-angle Replay Suite workflow. Saved duration is limited by available buffered footage.

If something is wrong

Let the buffer collect enough footage first. The saved duration cannot exceed the footage already buffered.
