Replay

Configure Replay Suite recording and playback

Prepare replay storage, recording inputs, timing, transitions, and event lists before recording.

Before you start

Open the collection and layout you intend to use. Prepare the devices, storage, or receiving service required by this workflow.

Where to find it

Replay Suite dock > Setting; Replay Suite Settings.

Set it up

  1. Enable Replay Suite access in Settings when required.
  2. Choose Recording folder and Recording format.
  3. Choose Use Layout Settings, or set Resolution, Frame rate, and Quality.
  4. Configure recording inputs in Input.
  5. Set Pre-roll seconds and Post-roll seconds.
  6. Review playback audio, transitions, event lists, and tags.
  7. Choose Save.

Storage

Recording buffer (seconds) sets the recording buffer. Low disk reserve (GB) reserves free space. Delete oldest Replay media when disk space is low permits removal of older replay media; enable it only if intended. Delete All Recorded Content... is destructive. Filename prefix/suffix help identify sessions.

Events and playback

Pre-roll/post-roll extend event timing around marks. Event ID digits sets identifier display width. Double-click plays event makes a double-click a playback cue. Sort new events by time orders additions by their time. Continue after event list continues the configured sequence. Automatically take Replay to output permits replay output changes during playback; review this before live use.

Audio and display

Playback audio selects replay sound. Master channel pairs choose channels 1–2 or 3–4. Play audio below 100% speed permits sound on slowed playback. Match transition speed to playback speed follows the playback speed. The Display options control active-angle live previews and visibility of recorded scene angles.

Transitions, lists, tags, and music

Choose In transition, Out transition, Event transition, and Playlist transition and use their edit/create controls as needed. Event Lists shows Number, Tab, Name, and Status; use Edit for the selected list. Event and playlist tags are separate. Enter one tag per line or separate with commas; Import/Export manages tag sets. Music file and Music volume supply playlist music where configured.
