How do I turn a video into an image sequence?

Follow this workflow to turn a video into an image sequence.

Before you start

Prepare the video, required range, and a writable output folder.

Where to find it

Tools > Image Sequence Generator.

Steps

Choose Video.
Choose Output folder.
Set Start number, Padding digits, and File prefix.
Choose image Format.
Leave Width and Height at 0 for source dimensions, or set both.
Use source frame rate or choose Frame rate.
Set Start seconds and Duration seconds.
Choose Generate.

Check the result

Inspect the generated frames and their sequence.

Helpful information

Duration 0 exports the full remaining video. Overwrite existing frames can replace matching files. Keep all generated frames together for an Image Sequence source.

If something is wrong

Check selected range, output folder, and export settings if frames are missing.
